What we hold, and what we do not

Last updated 19 September 2026

This product only works if riders trust the numbers, and nobody trusts a company that is cagey about data. So this says exactly what is stored, who can see it, and how to make it go away. No defined terms, no capital letters, no clauses that mean the opposite of what they appear to.

The short version

What we collect

When you sign up

An email address, or a Google or Apple sign-in. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in any readable form. Optionally a handle, a display name, a home city, a country and region, and an Instagram handle if you choose to add one.

When you add a bike

The model, and optionally a nickname, purchase year, current odometer, and registration number. The registration number is optional and we would rather you left it blank. It is there for riders with several similar bikes to tell them apart. It is never shown publicly and never leaves your account.

When you log a fill

Odometer reading, litres added, whether the tank was filled to full, and the time. Optionally the price per litre, the fuel grade, the station name, and a note. You can attach a photo of the odometer or the bill for your own records; we do not read them automatically and no text is extracted from them.

Location

We do not track your location. There is no GPS in the logging flow. The region shown on any public breakdown is the one you typed into your profile, not where you were when you filled up, which is why those pages say “riders based in” rather than naming where the fuel was burned.

On this website

If you join the waitlist, your email address. Nothing else. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no session recording. The public pages read only pooled figures and work without signing in at all.

What the public can see

Model pages show an average, a spread, and the number of fills and riders behind them. That is computed across everyone with that bike. An individual tank, an individual rider and any identifying field are never part of it, and the public data connection has no access to the tables that hold them.

Where the evidence is thin, the page says so rather than dressing it up. A figure from a single rider is labelled as coming from a single rider, and never appears on a leaderboard.

If you would rather not be in the pooled figures at all, turn off data contribution in the app. Your own numbers keep working; you simply leave the public record. That takes effect immediately, not at some later refresh.

How long we keep it

Consent is withdrawn instantly and erasure is deferred, which is the honest way round: the moment you ask, you stop feeding the public record, and only your private copy waits out the recovery window in case you change your mind.

To be precise about which part is which. Leaving the public figures is immediate and happens the moment you delete your account or switch off data contribution; there is no delay and no next refresh to wait for. Permanent erasure runs on a daily scheduled job, so a record due for deletion is removed on the next run rather than the same second. If you need something gone faster than that, ask and we will do it by hand.

Who else touches it

Our database and authentication run on Supabase. This website is served by Vercel. Both process data on our behalf in order to run the service. Sign-in with Google or Apple passes through those providers. We do not share data with anyone else, and we do not sell it.

If pooled, anonymous figures are ever licensed or published beyond this site, that is a statement about motorcycles rather than about people, and it still contains no individual rider or tank. Nothing that could identify you is part of any such figure.

Your rights

You can see your own data in the app, correct it, export a copy, stop contributing to the public record, or delete your account outright. Most of that is a button rather than a request. If you want something the app cannot do, write to us and we will do it.

Children

This is a product for people who ride motorcycles on public roads and it is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal riding age in their country.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, in the same release. It is not a document we quietly revise.

Contact

Questions, corrections or a deletion request the app cannot handle. Write to revrepublic24@gmail.com or use the button below, and see Contact for everything else.

Feedback

Questions about your data

Anything here unclear, or a request the app cannot handle on its own. Deletion, export and leaving the public figures are all buttons in the app, but if something is stuck, write to us and we will sort it.
