How much you ride

Does riding more get you more per litre?

Someone doing 200 km a day is mostly moving. Someone doing 20 is mostly stopping. Stop-start running burns more, so the daily distance a bike covers should show up in what it returns.

Still counting

Not enough tanks yet.

No single model has both sides of this comparison covered yet. We need 5 that do.

What moves it

Nothing extra to do. Every clean full-to-full fill already feeds this one.

Which bikes are counting

Every tank behind the counters above, and the bike it came from. The question is worked out one model at a time, so each of these has to clear the bar on its own before any of it adds up to an answer.

What this number can and cannot say

This measures how much you ride, not how you ride. We cannot see throttle, gear or right wrist, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Distance per day is a proxy for the city versus highway split, and it is treated as one.

The bar

30 clean fills from 10 riders in each side of the comparison, on the same model, with the gap between the sides bigger than the spread inside them. Pooled across the whole catalog only once 5 models have each cleared that on their own and point the same way.

Every tank counted here was logged by a rider, full tank to full tank. Partial fills and missed fills are thrown out before anything is counted. How that works
